Middle and high school students developing technique, confidence, and musical literacy
-
College-bound students preparing auditions and advanced repertoire
-
Adult students seeking structured, in-person guidance
Students are expected to practice regularly and engage actively in the learning process.
Teaching Approach
All in-person lessons emphasize:
-
Sustainable, healthy technique
-
Clear and efficient problem-solving
-
Strong fundamentals tailored to the individual student
-
Long-term musical growth rather than short-term fixes
Instruction is adapted to each student’s instrument, experience level, and goals.
Focused Study Packages
For in-person students, Focused Study Packages offer a short-term option for working intensively on a specific area of technique or musicianship. These four-lesson series are well suited for addressing focused needs such as hand position, tension reduction, setup concerns, or rebuilding fundamentals.
Examples of in-person Focused Study Packages include Technique Without Tension, Reeds & Setup Reality Check, and Back-to-Clarinet Bootcamp. Each package provides structured, goal-driven instruction while maintaining flexibility for students who do not need ongoing weekly lessons.
