Online clarinet lessons

with Dr. Larkin Sanders

I offer online clarinet lessons for students who want focused, thoughtful instruction without geographic limitations. Online study is a core part of my studio and is well suited to motivated students seeking clarity, efficiency, and long-term improvement.

All online lessons are booked below.

Who Online Lessons Are For

Online lessons are an excellent fit for students who:

  • Are college-bound high school clarinetists preparing auditions or major repertoire

  • Are adult returners looking to rebuild confidence, tone, or embouchure efficiency

  • Are advanced clarinetists seeking greater consistency and technical clarity

  • Prefer structured, high-focus lessons without weekly travel

Students should be comfortable working independently between lessons and engaging thoughtfully with feedback.

What We Work On

Lessons are individualized and goal-driven. Common areas of focus include:

  • Embouchure efficiency and sustainability

  • Tone production and consistency across registers

  • Technical coordination and clarity

  • Practice strategies and problem solving

  • Musical confidence and interpretive decision-making

The emphasis is on long-term solutions, not quick fixes.

Why Online Lessons Work

Online instruction allows for:

  • Clear visual diagnostics using strategic camera angles

  • Focused listening and detailed verbal feedback

  • Recorded sessions for reference and practice review

  • Efficient use of lesson time without travel or setup constraints

For many students, online lessons provide greater consistency and clarity than in-person study.

Lesson Format & Scheduling

  • Lessons are conducted via Zoom

  • Lesson availability is shown in real time through the scheduling system

  • All booking, payment, and studio policies are handled directly on this site

I maintain a limited online studio to ensure consistent attention and preparation.
