Reeds & Setup Reality Check is a focused short-term lesson series designed to help players get more out of their existing equipment with less frustration. Lessons address reed selection, basic adjustment strategies, mouthpiece and setup considerations, and common misconceptions that lead players to chase gear instead of solving musical problems. Rather than pursuing perfect reeds or constant equipment changes, students learn how to evaluate what they have, make informed adjustments, and recognize when equipment is—and is not—the root of a playing issue. This 4-lesson series is ideal for students feeling stuck in a reed spiral, uncertain about their setup, or preparing for performances where reliability matters more than perfection.
