Returns, Refunds, + Shipping

Worried about a big commitment with your purchases? No worries! I accept returns and provide refunds for purchases that meet the guidelines below.

Return Policy

  • Customers have 1 week to return unwanted items.

  • Defective Swag + Design Items may be accepted no later than 30 days after purchase date and must be shipped to the manufacturer. Please contact me for further instructions, and be sure to include photos of your damaged product in your email.

  • Items must be in "new" condition.

  • Customers are responsible for the return shipping of unwanted items.

    • Shipped to Clever Clarinetist, 4440 Bell St, Kansas City, MO 64111​

  • In the case of trials, a 5% restocking fee will be applied to unwanted items if no purchase is made.

  • Refunds will be made once the unwanted items are received by the Clever Clarinetist within 3 days.

Shipping Information

​I know we're accustomed to free shipping (thanks, Amazon Prime), but I have to charge shipping for my products. This is because Clever Clarinetist is a one-woman operation who will never ship at the same volume as a big box store. Further, I use a print-on-demand supplier for my swag which lowers costs and keeps waste to a minimum. My profit margin is pretty small already, so I can't afford free shipping on these items. SO YES, I charge for shipping, and the carrier determines the rates. I use FedEx for instruments and USPS for everything else. If you are ever overcharged for shipping, I will refund the amount.
